What SnapScore does

SnapScore lets you photograph meals and receive an AI-generated health score, macro estimate, and nutritional feedback. We store your meal history and streak data so you can track progress over time.

Data we collect

  • Email address — used to create and identify your account via magic-link sign-in.
  • Meal photos — sent to our AI model for analysis, then stored linked to your account so you can review past meals.
  • Meal data — scores, macro estimates, food names, notes, and timestamps you generate within the app.
  • Usage data — scan counts, streak days, goal settings, and subscription status.
  • Push notification token — if you enable notifications, we store a token to deliver reminders. We never send marketing messages.

How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the app's core features.
  • To display your meal history, scores, and streak.
  • To send push reminders you have explicitly enabled.
  • To manage your subscription if you upgrade to Pro.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your meal photos to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Third-party services

  • Supabase — database and authentication. Data is stored on servers in the United States.
  • Anthropic Claude — AI model used to analyze meal photos. Photos are sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
  • Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Vercel — hosting and serverless functions.

Data retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Children

SnapScore is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to how we process it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
